Spanning over two days, Friday 4th– Saturday 5th December, Poulton will host its annual Christmas Market bringing a wealth of festive treats to the town.

The Christmas celebrations will start with Santa’s grand arrival via the Lapland Express at Poulton’s Train Station, before travelling by sleigh to Poulton’s town square.

Music from The Blackpool 6th Form, local primary schools and Poulton’s band will fill the air as the mulled wine will flow and Poulton’s Christmas lights will be switched on by the Mayor of Wyre. This traditional sceptical of lights and entertainment that will truly bring a smile to all the families faces.

Roger Critchley, Chairman of Poulton Partnership said:

“Poulton Christmas Festival has something for everyone. Great stalls, fairground rides, live music and Santa. Be there to enjoy all the fun.”

This historical event has grown and grown each year, dating back to when this event was held at St Chad’s Church and each child received a mince pie. It’s safe to say the popularity of Poulton’s Christmas lights has truly brought the community together over the years.
